General Body Meeting of the Share and Care Charitable Society Kaipuzha for the month of Sept 2015 was conducted at the residence of Shri Jacob Perumapadam on 20th Sept 2015. At the outset of the meeting one minute mourn was observed by al members to pay homage to the departed soul of late Shri Jacob Eleckat who was previously a member of the Share and Care Charitable Society Kaipuzha. Thereafter minutes of the previous G.B. Meeting and the Core committee meeting were presented by the Secretary, and accounts of the previous month presented by the treasurer, and passed in the meeting. President of the Society Shri Shaji Kannalayil, in his Presidential address, expressed his sincere thanks to the various committees and its members for their valuable contribution and efforts for the efforts for the efficient functioning and conduct of events of the Share and Care Society, particularly he highlighted the contributions of Program committee, and its co-ordinator Roy Kottayarikil for the colourful conduct of the Onam Celebrations on 28th August 2015 at the Palliative Care Centre for Cancer patients at Gandhinagar Kottayam. However, the President expressed concern about laxity of certain members of the Society on such occasions an advised them to exercise more particularity which is in the interest of the smooth functioning of the Share and Care Society. He further expressed the need to maintain punctuality by each and every member. Our performance should be exemplary to others and they should get inspiration from us. Shri Shaji, President of the Society appreciated the performance of the Editorial Committee and the committee’s contributions to prepare a comprehensive Brochure of the Share and Care Society. Then, in the discussions held, all members of the Society participated actively. Discussions on the following points were held: 1. Launching of an Educational Financial Support Scheme for 10 poor students for their higher education. The details of this programme were explained by the President to the members and all the members unanimously agreed for the said Scheme. 2. Construction programme of houses for two homeless persons was discussed and the construction committee coordinator briefed the details to the members. 3. With regard to the Charity amount to be given this month the recommendations of the Advisory Committee were accepted to. 4. The Programme committee was asked to plan the Christmas Celebrations and Family Tour 2015 of the Society. The Programme co-ordinator was asked to prepare the tour programme and discuss if in the next G.B. Meeting. 5. The Secretary of the Society was asked to get the family photos of all the members of the Share and Care Charitable Society by 31st October 2015 6. Next month General Body Meeting was proposed to be held at the residence of Shri Biju Mathew Pathil. Thereafter, cake was distributed among the members by those who were celebrating their birthday during September 2015. Then the members took part in the refreshment arranged by Shri Jacob Perumapadam at his residence and all dispersed by 10:00 pm.
