The Share&Care Charitable society has been working for the last 9 years to formulate various schemes for helping the poor and needy. We are pleased to announce our new scheme “Share&Care Homes” in addition to the existing schemes “Thalachaikkanoridum”,”HELPS”,”Snehaswanthanam”and“Thalikettu” Under the new scheme, the Share&Care society constructs houses not exceeding 500 sq ft on the land donated by the volunteers who collaborate with Share&Care on its altruistic journey. The society also identifies the eligible families for a long term lease agreement of 10 years(at the rate of Rs100 per month) The scheme is open to financially backward widows who do not own a house or land and also for families where the breadwinner is suffering from chronic illness or permanently disabled in an accident. The scheme helps the eligible candidate to save the rent of 1 lakh on an annual basis. It provides an opportunity for candidates to save Rs10 Lakh during the lease period which can be effectively used for the education of the children, treatment, or saved for constructing a house after the completion of the lease period The agreement term for the “Share&Care Home” is for 10 years. Share&Care expects the children of the members staying in Share&Care Homes should study and grow professionally to support their family within a period of the lease term so that they can vacate the house for another family in distress. A family that is unable to do so will have to re-apply for extending the lease by another 5 years within the notice period mentioned in the agreement. The extension of the lease will be only subject to approval from Share&Care Charitable society based on the eligibility criteria. The first donation of 4 Cents of land for “Share&Care Homes” was made by the family of Mr.Luckose Pattarparambil in Kallara Panchayat. Share&Care constructed a a1000 sq feet house in Kallara on two floors for two families in its first “Share&Care Homes” project. The construction cost of the first Share&Care home was sponsored by Mr.Luckose Pattarparambil and KCCCF Tampa. Share&Care is grateful to Mr. Luckose and his family, all members of KCCCF Tampa, and specially to Mr.Xavier Vandan Kuzhi for their selfless support. One can participate in this charity scheme by either contributing a 450 sq ft plot or by donating Rs 5 lakh for constructing the house. Share&Care home is a great opportunity for showing your generosity and helping the poor and needy through share and care.
