Onam celebrations 2016 of the Share & Care Charitable Society was held in the “Santhwanam” a center which provide shelter and a homely atmosphere of love, freedom, sharing and secrutiy to abandoned, exploited and marginalized women and children located near Kottayam Medical College Hospital on 14th September 2016. The Onam celebrations were held in the above institution to get participated in the different events, by the inmates of the”Santhwanam”. All the members of the Share & Care Society with their family members assembled in the above location at 9:00 AM on 14th September. In every respect the Celebrations were eventful and colourful. Various competitions were conducted for children, as well as the grown-ups and prizes distributed to the winners. A public meeting was organized under the chairmanship of President of the Society, Shaji Kannalayil. Mrs. Jolly Adimathra, the Chief Sub Editor Madhrubumi Kottayam inaugurated the function. Mrs. Annie Babu, the Managing Trustee of the Santhwanam as well as other distinguished guests conveyed their greetings and best wishes to all on the occasion. They all applauded the exemplary altruistic activities of the Share & Care Charitable Society Kaipuzha. On this occasion, an Onam Gift and a Memento was also presented to Mrs. Annie Babu by the President of the Society. Mrs Annie Babu conveyed her sincere thanks for this kind gesture on the part of the Society, in the Public Meeting. Thereafter, all assembled on the occasion took part in the grand Onam Feast organized by the Society. Simultaneously a “Mimics Parade” was conducted for entertainment for the inmates of the Institute, children and grown-ups alike, assembled there. By 3:30 PM the celebrations were concluded. The Share & Care Charitable Society is fully confident that organizing such functions in this way will, of course, promote fraternity among all.
