General Body Meeting of the Share and Care Charitable Society, Kaipuzha for the month of October was held in the residence of Biju Mathew Pathil on 18th October. Following were the important points on which discussions were held in the meeting: 1. Hiring on rent of a proper room/building for Share and Care Society’s office was discussed. Few suggestions came up from the members. The proposals will be examined and a decision will be taken as early as possible. 2. Shri Boss Idukuthara, co-ordinator of the committee for HELPS (Higher Educational Ladder Promoting Students) explained the progress and present position of the Scheme. A new brochure of the said Scheme is under preparation. 3. Shri K J James, Controller Finance, explained the latest position of associate memberships, to the members. President of the Society asked all the Ward Executive Members to make all out efforts to achieve maximum results in this regard. 4. The Programme co-ordinator Shri Roy Kottayarikil explained to the members about the proposed family tour of the Society on 26th December 2015 on the occasion of Christmas and asked them to indicate the number and name of persons who wish to participate in the above programme. 5. Chief Editor of the Society Shri K J Jose Kannala briefed the members about the activityes and endeavours of the Editorial Board during Septemebr – October 2015. 6. Shri Lukose Poozhikanadackal of the Construction committee briefed the members about the progress and present position of the two small houses construction of which has been undertaken by the Society, for the homeless. 7. Shri Sunny Vettekatte, Chairman of the Advisory Board briefed about the persons to whom charity amount is to be given this month. 8. It was decided then that the next month’s G.B. Meeting would be held at the residence of E.P. Sabu Elackatte. Thereafter, cake was distributed among the members by those who were celebrating their birthday during October 2015. Then the members took part in the refreshment arranged by Shri Biju Pathil at his residence and all dispersed by 10:00 pm.
